The Goblin Market

I really did like the poem about the two sisters and finding the real happiness and richness of life in what you make of it. You really can't take a short-cut to finding wealth. It comes through experience and life. It won't come to you. At least, the real wealth in this world won't come to you. We have to find it and put effort into it. The poem makes a good point.

Transitioning

Discovering a little bit more about Frankenstein brought up some new points to my mind and encouraged me to think a little deeper about the story. I am also very excited about the Victorian Age and learning more about the British era. I have seen movies from the British era and they have always been fascinating to me. I look forward to the next few weeks. ;)

The first essay really challenged me to dig deeper than just the surface and seeing a picture in my mind. It was fun for me in analyzing it and trying to find where exactly the pieces I chose were connected to the romance period. It definitely stretched my mind and I learned a few things. In a way poetry is like music. The music artists writes what inspires him and the poet writes what inspires his soul.

Frustrated-Feb. 4

I honestly don't remember a time when I was this frustrated with technology. I love the class, but I guess I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I wish someone had given me something internet courses on what I should know. I think I have discovered everything by now and have enjoyed posting and discussing. But, it's been an adventure. Things can only go up from here.
